COMBINATION MATCHLOCK PISTOL & AXE. Cal .60. 9” part oct bbl. The axe blade is 5”h x 3-5/8”w. The ramrod appears to be forged iron but the match holder appears to be cold rolled. The assemblage is fairly crude with the ramrod pipes brazed on at different angles requiring the ramrod to be bent to insert into the pipes. The breech plug is welded to the rear of bbl. CONDITION: Cleaned mostly bright with some pitting remaining. 4-49201 (500-1,000)
