LARGE SCARCE ANTIQUE LITHOGRAPH BANNER ADVERTISING ANGOSTURA BITTERS. To our knowledge there are four known examples. This is considered by some to be the best example. Two of them are presently in museums. This lovely roll down with original metal bands at top and bottom depicts a young maid being served the bitters by two cherubs. “Presented by Dr. J.C.B Siegert & Sons, Sole manufacturers of the Celebrated Angostura Bitters”. SIZE: 12-1/2″ x 29″ overall incl. frame. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Very minor edge damage. 1-29656 (1,500-2,000)
