A bright sunset with yellow, gold and red to blue sky. Housed in a period gesso decorated gilt frame. The back stretcher marked in black pencil “A. Bierstadt”. SIZE: 12” x 16”. CONDITION: Six patches to reverse, 1” slit in sky. Otherwise very good with inpainting. 9-70035 (1,500-2,000)
