PATENT MODEL: J. H. PAWLING, SNOWPLOW Patented Mar. 9, 1858, tag no. 19577. Post fire tag. Iron model with brass sides tapered having two iron wheels under the front sloping end. Engraved on one side “Joseph H. Pawling, Philadelphia, Improvement On Snow Plough”. The attached note indicates that model taken from the debris of the fire Sept. 24, 1877. SIZE: 3-1/2″ h x 13″ l x 7” w. CONDITION: Generally good, large piece of brass broken off on one side. 1-29762 (800-1,200)
