ORSON P. WILLMOTT (American, 19th/20th Century) SUNSET WINTER LANDSCAPE. Large oil on canvas sunset scene shows a boy and a girl with a sled piled with sticks walking along snow covered road. A group of figures are skating on a pond which reflects the colorful sunset. Large trees are in foreground with forest behind the pond. Signed lower left. Housed in a gold molded wood frame with leaf decoration. SIZE: 30” x 50”. CONDITION: Loose on stretcher, needs retightening, otherwise good. 9-70030 (1,500-2,000)
