BERTHA E. BAXTER (American, 1895) FROZEN HARBOR, ROCKPORT. Oil on canvas harbor scene shows a two-mast schooner moored alongside a wharf with tall posts with different colored houses. Signed lower left and dated 1935. The harbor has ice and the snow covers the rooftops and boats. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood frame with bead edge. SIZE: 20″ x 24″. CONDITION: Minor inpainting, small v-shape repaired tear in green boat. Otherwise good. 9-91610 (1,200-1,800)
