LOUIS RITMAN (American, 1889-1963) “THE GARDEN”. Oil on canvas scene shows a colorful and well groomed garden on the side of a brown house with stucco walls. A road passes to the right side and trees surround house. Signed lower right “L Ritman”. Housed in a fine gesso decorated gilt frame. There is an Estate stamp on the back of the canvas and it comes with a letter signed by Maurice Ritman, his brother which indicates that this painting was purchased from the Estate of Louis Ritman and the painting is Circa 1915. The letter is dated June 15th, 1989. SIZE: 21-1/2” x 25-3/4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-26875 (18,000-23,000)
