LARGE CLOSED MOUTH JUMEAU BEBE. SIZE: 26-1/2″ (66 cm), with poured bisque head, large blue paperweight eyes, evenly painted eyebrows, with head stamped in red “Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G. 12”. She is on her original fully jointed body with original finish, with an oval paper label reading “Bebe Jumeau diplome d’Honneur: as well as a paper label from the original Paris toy shop. She is wearing a dark human hair wig, probably later than doll, and is lacking her cork pate. She is dressed in a long white cotton and lace dress, lacking under garments, wearing brown leather children’s shoes. CONDITION: Nice quality bisque and body, minor paint wear on finger tips and joints. 1-5512 RS (3,500-4,500)
