KATHLEEN VOUTE (American, 1892) THE RED FARM. Good watercolor scene shows connected farm buildings all painted red. All against a green hillside in a summer landscape. Signed lower left “Kathleen Voute 33”. Housed in a molded wood frame with white matte. Voute is best known as an illustrator for children’s books and was a member of the American Watercolor Society between 1928-1936. SIGHT SIZE: 15-1/2” x 19-1/2”.
