JOHNSON MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCK MARTIAL PISTOL. Cal .54. 8-1/2” round bbl. Lockplate is dated 1839. Sharp “WAT” and “JH” cartouches on the left side of the stock. Most of the lock parts have two diamond touch marks but the pan is unfinished. The hammer and frizzen are heavily polished. There are no inspector initials on bbl band, side plate or ramrod. NSN. CONDITION: Metal surfaces lightly cleaned with minor pitting remaining. Stock does not appear to have been sanded but the entire length of the backstrap is showing on both sides.
