ATTRIBUTED TO PAUL WEBER (American, 1823-1916) THE VALLEY MILL. Oil on canvas scene shows a small connected mill on a small stream. Grass fields lead to sloping hills. All under a bright white cloud and blue sky with edges having pink clouds. Housed in its original fancy gesso decorated frame with gilt liner. Stretcher retains its original “Weil & Taws Philadelphia, PA” label. SIZE: 13″ x 21″. CONDITION: Patch to reverse, unrestored tear in left woods, inpainting. Otherwise good. 9-91304 (700-900)
