2 CHARLIE CHAPLIN CANDY CONTAINERS 1) With curved barrel, ca. 1915. Chaplin in black coat and brown pants, holding cane next to curved hoop barrel with slotted wood grained litho closure. Marked “Charlie Chaplin” on front of base. Bottom of barrel marked “Geo. Borgfeldt & Co., New York, sold licensees”. Bottom of figure marked “Serial No. 2862/Net/Wt”. 2) With straight barrel, ca. 1920. L.E. Smith Co. Chaplin stands next to straight sided wide paneled barrel. SIZE: 1) 3″ w x 3-3/4″ h. 2) 4″ w x 4″ t. CONDITION: Good paint on 1, traces of paint left on 2, replaced closure on 2, otherwise good+. 1-29848-429 (250-450)
