TWO HANGING SCROLLS, CHINA. 19th Century. 1) Ink and light color on silk, depicting two scholars in a rustic landscape with a cottage at the bottom of a precipice. Signed “Shifu Qiu Ying zhi,”. 2) Ink and color on silk, depicting a pair of mandarin ducks in a reed pond. Inscribed, signed “Zichang Li Kongqiu,” with one seal. SIZE: 1) 29-3/4″ x 15-3/4″. 2) 29-3/4″ x 13″. CONDITION: 1) Tear to the top area, creases, soiled. 2) Minor loss to the surface, soiled. 7-72798, 7-72807 (600-800)
