UNSIGNED (American, First half of the 20th Century) THE ROSE. Large oil on canvas interior scene shows a woman sitting in front of a vanity with a large mirror. She holds a red rose to the side of her head and wears a red gown. A rose is seen in a clear glass vase with a powder jar beside. A nice art deco rendering. Housed in a gilt replacement frame. SIZE: 46” x 28”. CONDITION: Three patches to reverse with some minor inpainting. 9-72181 (300-500)
