KALEIDOSCOPE CANDY CONTAINER Ca. 1913. Certainly one of the most difficult to find and most sought after of all candy containers. Tin construction with glass horizontal cylinder that revolves when crank is turned. This very container is illustrated in “Collector’s Guide to Candy Containers” by Dezso & Poirier, p. 159. Pat by Turney G. Stough. Retains most of red and cream decal reading “Moving Pictures” with directions for use “By West Bros. & Co., Grapeville, PA”. SIZE: 6-3/4″ t x 2-3/4″ w. CONDITION: Good to very good. Tin cylinder exhibits scratching and pitting, but appears exactly as it does in photo in Collector’s Guide. Glass cylinder has serpentine crack.
