E.J. BEBE OF THE EARLIEST PERIOD. SIZE: 24″ (61 cm), All-original with pressed bisque head incised 9 over EJ, desirable amber paperweight eyes, which enhance the beauty of this delightful lady, open/closed mouth showing hint of a tongue tip, with applied ears, mauve shading on upper eyelids and cheeks. Body is stamped in blue on the torso, “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. Body has 8 separate ball joints and large oversized hands. She is very well dressed in an ivory silk dress with lace overlay at collar and bottom of skirt wearing a well coordinated hat of similar construction, and her original auburn mohair wig over cork pate and antique black leather boots with brown silk rosettes. CONDITION: Excellent, near mint!
