MODEL 1860 STAFF & FIELD OFFICER’S SWORD. Blade marked “AMES MFG CO CHICOPEE MASS”. Sharkskin grip with twisted wire is complete. Guard decorated with eagle over six flags, folding langet is decorated with patriotic shield and spray of arms. CONDITION: Blade is 90% frosty mint. Brass mounted steel scabbard is fine. Scabbard mounts and hilt exhibit 90% plus original gilt. 4-49705 JS52 (400-500)
