TWO PIECES OF IMARI PORCELAIN. 19th century, Japan. The first an 11″ bowl with polychrome panels alternating with indigo reserves decorated with scrolling floral vinery and flower heads centering a rondel decorated with stylized fish. Second an oval 13″ platter with scalloped edge floral decorated overall. SIZE: As noted. CONDITION: Generally good. Bowl with tight vertical hairline from rim to midpoint. Platter with shallow chips and abrasions on rim, otherwise good. 9-26021 (300-400)
