MODEL 1840 ENLISTED ARTILLERY SABER. Blade marked “AMES MFG CO CABOTVILLE MASS/1848/WD/US”. Complete with scabbard. Drag of scabbard and hilt both stamped with “74”. CONDITION: Grip wrap is very good, complete leather and wire. Blade is fine. Most of blade shows original polish. 4-49894 JS49 (750-850)
