FINE GLAZED REDWARE HANDLED PITCHER WITH COVER. Ovoid pitcher with strap handle having thumbprint end, flaring upright rim with edge to receive cover. The green slip streaked with dark brown, a wavy incised line is at neck. The cover has central finial and glazed in light brown with splotchy yellow and green. PROVENANCE: Ginsburg & Levy Inc. 1965. SIZE: 8-1/2” h x 7” w (without handle). CONDITION: Rim roughness to pitcher, some glaze cracking. Cover has glaze chips, otherwise very good. 8-76024 (800-1,200)
