MODEL 1852 NAVY OFFICER’S SWORD. Blade marked “CLAUBERG, SOLINGEN”. Complete with correct scabbard. Sharkskin grip has triple wire. CONDITION: Grip and wire 95% intact, hilt and scabbard have nice untouched patina. Sharkskin scabbard in good condition. Drag missing screw. Blade etch is very light and worn but etched panels of eagle on top of cannon, fluted anchor, “U.S”, ship’s mast and flag are readable. 4-49892 JS44 (500-600)
