CARVED IVORY INDIAN GODDESS. This exquisite carved Indian Goddess, in wonderful detail, depicts a four armed Goddess, to holding what appear to be Lotus Blossoms, she is dressed in a gown ornamented with many jewels. Her long flowing hair extends down to about the knee level. She stands on a huge Lotus Blossom also carved of ivory. Ivory shows much patina and age. The whole mounted on a rosewood or mahogany base. SIZE: 8-1/8″ h (ivory only); 10-1/2″ h (including base). CONDITION: Excellent. 9-27169 (800-1,200)
