MODEL 1850 STAFF & FIELD OFFICER’S SWORD. 32” blade marked “AMES MFG CHICOPEE MASS”. Complete with scabbard also marked “AMES MFG CHICOPEE MASS”. CONDITION: Sharkskin grip and twisted wire are complete with one 4” crack on left side of grip wrap. Blade etch is light, Ames maker marking is almost unreadable. Scabbard has two 1/2”cracks, one near throat and one between top two mounts, otherwise scabbard is good condition with only a fews dents in drag. 4-49241 JS43 (800-1,000)
