MODEL 1850 STAFF & FIELD OFFICER’S SWORD. 30-1/4” blade marked “AMES MFG CHICOPEE MASS”. Complete with scabbard also marked “AMES MFG CHICOPEE MASS”. CONDITION: Sharkskin grip and twisted wire wrap are complete, Blade etch is weak but all readable. Scabbard has nickel plated throat, otherwise standard Ames mounts and drag. 4-49888 JS40 (650-750)
