EAGLE AND EAGLETS MECHANICAL BANK. Place a coin in the mouth of eagle. When the lever is pressed the eagle tilts forward and drops coin in nest on bank, simultaneously the eaglets rise up. Toy was originally advertised as a patriotic symbol (of the American eagle bank). Made by J & E Stevens, patented in 1883. SIZE: 8″ l. CONDITION: Even wear all over the bank. Bank needs a good cleaning, otherwise very good condition. Has original trap. 1-5309 MC (500-800)
