MODEL 1860 ENLISTED NAVY CUTLASS. Blade marked “AMES MFG. CO CHICOPEE MASS/P/USN/DR/1862”. Complete with original scabbard. CONDITION: Grip retains about 100% original leather, no wire, basket hilt has a couple 1/2” dents. Hilt has deep chocolate red patina. Blade is gray with some areas of original shine. Blade appears retipped. Tip of scabbard broken off. 4-49893 JS37 (500-600)
