MICHAEL PALMER (American, 20th Century) “TALADEGA BUS STOP”. Interesting unsigned oil on canvas scene shows three woman standing beside a wall with Taladega sign above. Above the wall is seen blue sky with trees. Each person holds a handbag. The clothes of the three are done in solid black while the rest is in black and white sketch lines. Housed in a silver molded wood frame. Back stretcher having title. SIZE: 30″ x 36″. PROVENANCE: Dr. Ladd Heldenbrad Estate, So. Portland, Maine. CONDITION: Very good. 9-90928 (1,000-1,500)
