MODEL 1840 PALMETTO CAVALRY SABER. Marked “Columbia, SC” on ricasso, complete with scabbard. CONDITION: Grip is very good, about 90% original leather over cord wrap, twisted wire is complete with one small break. Tang shows old hammering. Blade has areas of scattered pitting. Scabbard is typical import scabbard with 2 pins holding throat. 4-49092 JS30 (2,500-3,500)
