CARVED CHINESE ROSEWOOD INLAID SIDE CHAIR. 19th century, China. Shaped back centering a circular panel inset with marble flanked by pierce carved floral panels, all with dense mother of pearl floral inlays joined to rectangular seat with molded edge inset with conforming marble panel. Frontal apron inlaid with abalone floral decoration. Chair raised on square legs with box stretcher. SIZE: 36″ h of back, 16-1/2″ h of seat. CONDITION: Structurally good with normal and expected shrinkage and looseness to frame. 9-25899 (800-1,200)
