FOLK ART LION WITH PALM TREE HOOKED RUG. Rectangular hooked rug shows large brown and black lion standing amongst four palm trees against a mottled tan background. Colorful border with red, white and blue shields at corners surrounded by red, blue and green foliate design. Burlap backing to bottom. SIZE: 35” x 61”. CONDITION: Rug has some damage including a 4” sq. hole and some tears. In need of some restoration. Nice colorful rug in a desirable folk art motif. 9-96842 (3,000-4,000)
