TWO PORCELAIN FIGURES ON STANDS. 19th century, China. First, a blanc de chine figure of the Buddha Mi Lo Fu mounted on hardwood stand. Second, a polychrome decorated figure of the god of official promotions (signed) mounted on hardwood stand. SIZE: 1st: 6-1/2″ h. 2nd: 15-1/4″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine southern Maine home. CONDITION: Buddha with damages and losses to both hands and with some craquelure and discoloration. Second with loss to fingertips, proper right hand and absence of scepter. 9-25221 (300-500)
