AMETHYST PENDANT NECKLACE. 19th, early 20th century, China. Amethyst pendant carved with fox figures suspended on 14kt gold chain interspaced with amethyst beads. Piece depicts fable of the “Fox and the Grapes”. SIZE: Pendant: 1-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ x 1/2″. CONDITION: Very good. Beads with some wear and slight imperfections. Pendant with fleabites to tail of one fox. 9-25187 (700-900)
