FINE SET OF FOUR PAINT DECORATED SIDE CHAIRS. The backs having four half spindles with horizontal splat and top rectangular crests. Shaped plank seat, all supported by four turned splayed legs with box stretcher. Gold fruit basket and grape stenciling to backs over a black and red grain paint. The seats grain painted in simulated birdseye maple with green borders and mustard outlining. The bottoms have a black stenciled “G” and pencil signed “R. Gill”. SIZE: 32” h x 16-1/2” seat h. CONDITION: Very good, slight wear to the seats. 8-76013 (1,000-1,500)
