GEORGE BRAINERD BURR (American, 1876-1939) WASH DAY. Pencil drawing and accompanying etching shows clothes out on a clothesline between two buildings. A small sailboat and another boat are pulled on shore with small river. Drawing is pencil identified “Tiefeverder Sept 20” upper left and signed with initials “GB” bottom left. The etching is signed bottom right and dated “99”. Both are housed in identical silver gilt decorated modern frames with white mattes. SIGHT SIZE: Sketch is 11-1/2” x 8-3/4”. Etching image is 12” x 9-1/4”. CONDITION: Some spots on drawing, otherwise very good. 9-26948; 26711 (800-1,200)
