PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 3. 1) Molasses Gate by E. Stebbins with original patent tag# 7,724, dated Oct 15, 1850 (2 corners of tag missing, slight nibble at top). Cast iron threaded pipe with spring loaded handle and lid. SIZE: 4 3/4″ l. CONDITION: Very good. 2) Apparatus for Extracting Saccharine Matter from Sugar Cane with original patent tag# 140,461, dated July 1, 1873. Partial model consisting of brass tube receptacle with super structure containing pulley. SIZE: 9 1/2″ l. CONDITION: Appears to be re-soldered in spots, overall good. 3) Possible Patent Model for Double-sided Frying Pan (no patent tag but possibly #951,663). Metal pans placed top to top, fitting hand in glove and joined by ring at handle top, allowing for covered pan and flipping without spillage. SIZE: 17″ l x 11″ w.
