UNSIGNED (Mid 19th Century) THE MILL POND. Oil on canvas scene shows a thatched roof mill with large water wheel at the end of a mill pond. Two men and a dog are seen along the bank looking across the pond at another figure and a cow. All under blue sky with white clouds. Housed in a gesso decorated gilt modern frame. Back of canvas with a New York stencil stamp. SIZE: 18” x 24”. CONDITION: Very good, minor spot inpainting. 9-70900 (800-1,200)
