PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 2. 1) Insoles for boots and shoes by P.T. Smith & R. Cochran, original patent tag# 194,184, dated Aug 14, 1877. Two flat copper and zinc “footprint” inserts. SIZE: 9 3/4″ l. CONDITION: Minor dents otherwise good to very good. 2) Shoemasters Tool by A. J. Moore, Samuel Bleistein and S. H. Shirk. Original patent tag# 79,676, dated July 7, 1868. Flag tin configuration of adjustable pieces to act as stencil for cutting out shoes and boots. Retains silver plaque with inventor’s name. SIZE: 11″ x 5 1/4″.
