OUTSTANDING PAIR OF HAND PAINTED LARGE FROSTED GLASS VASES. Each vase decorated with colorful blue, yellow and green birds surrounded by red and green flowers and leaves. Birds face each other. Gold rims on a frosted white ground. Base has polished pontil and hour glass shapes with large flaring rim. PROVENANCE: Bill Schwind Antiques. Ex: James Blaine Estate (a smaller but similar pair can be found in the Blaine House, Augusta, Maine) (Governor’s Residence). SIZE: 13-3/4” h. Top is 7-1/2” dia.
