Oil on canvas shoulder length portrait of a young woman with auburn hair wearing a wide brim hat with black ostrich feathers and a white scarf over a black coat. Monogrammed lower left and dated “1881”. Housed in a period gesso decorated gilt frame which is smaller than the stretcher. SIZE: 21″ x 17″. CONDITION: Minor inpainting, very good. 9-91326 (500-800)
