PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 3. 1) Post Office Box by J. Spruce with original patent tag# 224,486, dated Feb. 10, 1880. Grooved wooden box intended to fit snugly with other boxes, fronted by a brass cover with cutout of “U.S.”. SIZE: 5 1/2″ h x 2 3/4″ w x 9″ d. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 2) Bill Holder by S. F. Woody with partial original tag# 484,904, dated Oct. 25, 1892. Leather covered billfold secured at one corner to allow fanning of contents. SIZE: 9″ l x 3 1/4″ w. CONDITION: Some edge wear to cover and paper pockets inside. 3) Trunk Lid Support by Geo Johnson & Fred Bottner with original patent tag# 121,786, dated Dec. 12, 1871. Wooden covered box marked with inventors’ names inside which are 2 metal rods and brackets that hold the lid open. SIZE: 9″ w x 12″ l.
