PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 2. 1) Bed Plate by W. Clarke with original patent tag# 6,784, dated Oct 9 1819. An early patent model with this low number consisting of a wood block with diamond mesh pattern on top marked “Wm. Clark, Dayton, Ohio” on one side and “Clark’s Cast Iron Rag Engine Bed Plate” on the other. SIZE: 6 1/4″ l. CONDITION: 4″ sliver missing otherwise good. 2) Spring Bed Bottom by A. W. Obermann with original patent tag# 184,104. Metal bed frame with series of springs inside (some missing). SIZE: 9″ l x 6″ w. CONDITION: Generally good. 1-6231, 1-6282 AT (150-250)
