ALBERT MARQUET (French, 1875-1947) “LA PLAGE A TROUVILLE”. Oil enhanced lithograph beach scene shows a wide expansive sandy beach with deep blue water in distance having three sails under white and blue sky. In foreground are several beachgoers with children, some seated on lounge chairs and two colorful umbrella cabanas. Signed lower left “Marquet”. Also with a signature type stamp to reverse and typed label attached “Albert Marquet La Plage A Trouville Donation Vogel Paris Tableau 43 Place 8”. Housed in a gold painted gesso decorated frame which is “as is”. SIZE: 19-3/4” x 24”. CONDITION: Good, one scratch to upper right. 9-72934 (600-800)
