BILL PAXTON (American, Last half of the 20th Century) “PEMAQUID LIGHT, MAINE”. Oil on canvasboard winter scene shows a white lighthouse with connected buildings flying the American flag. Two boys pull sleds up a hill under snowy skies. A fishing trawler is seen in choppy seas. Signed lower left. Housed in a simple oak molded wood frame. Bill Paxton was a prolific painter of Maine scenes of which this is typical of his better work. SIZE: 12″ x 16″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-91802 (200-300)
