HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1855 RIFLE MUSKET. Cal .58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated 1858 on lock and bbl. “JAS” inspector cartouche is sharp despite being in a sanded area. NSN. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned but moderate pitting remains on the lockplate, buttplate and bbl bands. Ramrod is a replacement. Stock has been repaired, sanded and refinished. Lock is fine. 4-49747 FS80 (1,000-1,500)
