KYSER & REX ZOO BANK. A most amusing small bank with attention paid to detail. Comical and far-fetched in the sense of why would wild animals be in one’s house? When pressing the monkey’s face in the upper dormer the shutters pop open revealing a lion and bear. Polychromed in brilliant colors, and although small, it is still a delightful bank. PROVENANCE: York County, Pennsylvania house sale. SIZE: Base measures 4″ w. CONDITION: Pristine, lacking trap. Though not particularly rare, it is in very rare condition. 1-6118 MC (3,000-5,000)
