S.N.& W.T.C. CONTRACT MODEL 1864 RIFLE MUSKET. Cal .58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated 1864 on lock and bbl. Faint “GKC” inspector cartouches on the left side of the stock. Issue markings “c / 33 / 84” are stamped on top of the buttplate. Standard 3-line marking on the lock in front of the eagle. NSN. CONDITION: Gray patina overall with light pitting and small patches of rust and heavier pitting. Wood has some scorch marks near the buttplate and on top of the wrist but otherwise has normal handling marks. Lock is fine. 4-49629 FS105 (750-1,500)
