FOUR-PIECE SOLID SILVER ORIENTAL TEA SERVICE. Early 20th century, China. The set consisting of: 6″ h hinged lid teapot; 3-1/4″ h creamer; 4-1/2″ two-handled sugar with removable lid; and a 21-3/4″ w (including handles) x 12-1/4″ l tray. Each marked identically “Silver” with two Oriental hallmarks. Each with a script monogram “RW”.The handles in a bamboo style, the pieces relief and engraved with different Oriental motifs involving men & women in landscape and houses, some doing chores. WEIGHT: 92 tr. oz. CONDITION: The trays small domed feet have dimples, otherwise very good. 9-25100 (2,500-3,500)
