SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1855 PISTOL CARBINE. Cal .54. 12” part oct bbl. Dated 1855 on the lockplate and 1855 on bbl. The butt cap has the number 14; and 2 on the stock metal. There is no cartouche. NSN. CONDITION: Gray with light pitting overall. There is a crack through the lockplate with dents and gouges, some filled but the wood has not been sanded.
