Both inscribed and inspired by Zhang Ji’s poem “Feng Qiao Ye Bo” (A Night Mooring By Maple Bridge). 1) Ink on silk, depicting an evening view of a landscape with river and pavilions. Signed “Zhengjiao,” with one seal. 2) Ink and color on silk, depicting day-time view of the same landscape. Inscribed, signed “Xigeng Lao Ren,” dated the third month in xinwei year (1931), with one seal. Both framed and glazed. SIZE: 1) 22″ x 18-1/2″ 2) 22″ x 21″. PROVENANCE: Ex. P.Y. Wang Collection.
