THREE-PIECE LOT RELATING TO THE BARK TEEKALET. 1) Needlework sampler with white on blue background with key border “Bark Teekalet at Sea December 16th, 1876”. SIGHT SIZE: 8” x 11”. 2) Framed needlework having four rows of alphabet and numbers. Last line “N. S. Tracy Dec 28th 76” (Tracy was the Captain of the ship Teekalet). SIGHT SIZE: 7’ x 14”. 3) Book: Heckford’s Sailing Directions for the Bay of Bengal & Straights of Malacca”. With inscription inside front cover “American Barque Teekalet New York Feb 18th, 1877 Captain E H Tracy, Gouldsboro, Maine”. PROVENANCE: J. Hollis Wyman Estate (Blueberry King) Milbridge, Maine.
